Mailcat (“we,” “us,” or “Mailcat”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use our email sequence Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Please also read our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you are typically the controller of recipient and campaign data you enter; we process that data on your instructions to provide the Service.
Information we collect
Information you provide: Account details (such as email and password via our auth provider), workspace information, sending domains and from-addresses, recipient lists (email and optional name), sequence content (subjects and HTML bodies), and enrollment or support messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: Device and browser type, IP address, access times, feature usage, and error logs to keep the Service secure and reliable. We use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in sessions and locale preferences; see our Cookie Policy.
What we do not collect: We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn of a minor’s account, we will investigate and may delete related data where appropriate.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the Service (accounts, sequences, scheduled sending, support); enforce security and workspace isolation; improve the product and fix issues; send service-related notices; prevent fraud, abuse, and Terms violations; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your recipient lists. We may aggregate or de-identify data for analytics and product improvement.
Sharing and retention
We may disclose data to service providers (hosting, database, authentication, transactional email delivery such as Resend, and similar infrastructure) only as needed to operate the Service, under contract and applicable law. Data may transfer in a merger or reorganization. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect users and the platform.
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with law. After account closure or when data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required (for example outbound send records used for daily sending limits).
Security and your rights
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections where supported and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; protect your account credentials.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email support@trymailcat.com; we may verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights under applicable law.
Policy changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will change the “Last updated” date at the top; material changes will be communicated reasonably. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where law requires separate consent.
